Senior Consultant

Senior Consultants at Vantage play a critical role managing and leading client engagements, coaching and mentoring analysts and consultants, and contributing to business development and firm initiatives. He/she/they will bring in-depth consulting experience across varied industries to lead client-facing projects, manage executive relationships, and ultimately be viewed as a trusted advisor to Vantage clients. Senior Consultants marry business acumen with insight to drive results for clients and will simultaneously manage multiple workstreams with a focus on project economics and a commitment to the Vantage Culture Code.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and lead multiple, simultaneous consulting projects for Fortune 500 clients, partnering with senior executives/relationship partners to define project approach, identify project plan, and ensure plan achieves client objectives
  • Work closely with client project team members to proactively identify and resolve issues that may adversely impact project
  • Communicate project status and results with appropriate level of continuity, detail, and urgency
  • Design and perform diagnostic activities, including creating diagnostic interview plans, leading
    diagnostic interviews, and analyzing complex qualitative data to derive non-obvious insights and create dynamic visual representations, typically in PowerPoint
  • Facilitate meetings and trainings, and lead working sessions with clients, actively and methodically aligning cross-functional stakeholders around objectives and measures of success, travelling to client locations as required
  • Identify opportunities to grow relationships within strategic clients and work with relationship partners to develop work within accounts
  • Contribute to Vantage’s thought leadership and participate in business development activities, including engaging in RFP processes and conferences, drafting articles and white papers, and creating case studies

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 6+ years management consulting experience with in-depth consulting experience across varied industries; familiarity with supply-chain, pharma/life sciences, and partnering/alliances a plus
  • Strong academic credentials and undergraduate degree; advanced degree (MBA, MSc, MA) in related fields highly valued
  • Experience working on consulting teams alongside teammates of varied skill levels and partnering with senior-level executives on long-term projects
  • Highly effective problem solving and analytical skills (gathering, synthesizing, and analyzing complex data; experience building business processes and utilizing relationship management tools)
  • Note: This role is currently remote due to Covid
  • Must possess eligibility to work in the United States without restriction
